My dad gave me the name Abiola. I was told that Abiola means born in honor or born to riches and it's of Nigerian origin. I grew up in the South American country of Guyana. 

My childhood was filled with fond memories and allowed me the opportunity of seeing and appreciating nature's beauty and the beauty of people.

It was so peaceful. Listening to the sweet melodies of chirping birds, looking at a beautiful sunset, or the face of an adorable child.

Such beauty brings joy to my heart and gives me much serenity.
​I now enjoy capturing and sharing such beauty with my camera and my pen. I feel that a picture captures the emotions of that moment that we can always reflect on; like poetry it has a lasting impression on the mind and heart.
